Privacy Policy

Daily Hub ("we", "us", the "app") is a personal intelligence dashboard that delivers an AI-written morning brief, morning videos, market data, and alerts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up we store your email address and authentication details through our identity provider (Supabase Auth). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and basic profile information from that provider.
• Profile content. Anything you choose to add — display name, handle, bio, avatar, saved articles, watchlist tickers, links, and posts you create.
• Connected accounts (optional). If you connect X (Twitter) or Spotify, we store the access tokens needed to provide those features. You can disconnect at any time, which removes the stored tokens.
• Usage data. Basic, app-functional data such as your sign-in streak, preferences, and the sources/channels you configure.
• Location (optional). If you allow it, we use your device's location to show local weather. Your coordinates are sent to our weather provider only to fetch the forecast for your area; they are not sold or used to track you. You can deny or revoke this in your device settings, or set your location manually instead.
• Notifications. If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device. We do not access your contacts.

How we use your information

• To provide and personalize the dashboard (your brief, videos, markets, alerts, and calendar).
• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To deliver the features you opt into, such as connected-account posting or playback.
• To send reminders you have enabled (e.g., your daily brief notification).
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers we rely on

We share data only with the infrastructure and AI providers required to run the app, under their respective terms:

• Cloudflare — hosting, edge compute, and storage.
• Supabase — authentication and database.
• AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cloudflare Workers AI) — to generate the written brief, summaries, and generated imagery. Content sent for generation is limited to what is needed to produce the result.
• Market, news, and media providers — to fetch quotes, headlines, and video clips you request.
• X (Twitter) and Spotify — only if you connect those accounts.

Data retention

We keep your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect an integration, its tokens are deleted. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).

Your choices and rights

• Access, update, or delete your profile information in the app.
• Disconnect any connected account at any time.
• Turn notifications off in your device settings.
• Request full account deletion by emailing us.

Children

Daily Hub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
